大连医科大学附属二院神经内科是大连市一级重点学科，大连医科大学博士学位授权点，辽宁省心理危机干预和治疗中心，国家临床药物试验基地，卫生部专科医师规范化培训基地。学科目前主要在脑血管病、神经系统变性疾病、癫痫与发作性疾病、痴呆与神经心理疾病，以及神经电生理等方面开展临床工作。经过多年的建设和发展，科室在脑血管病的介入治疗、脑卒中的救治和组织化管理、痴呆和神经心理疾病疾病的诊治、神经内科疑难病的诊断与治疗等方面形成了自己的优势和特色。尤其在脑血管病的介入治疗方面具有较强的优势，自2001年以来全面开展了各种脑血管病的介入治疗和研究，如超急性期脑血栓和脑栓塞的动脉内溶栓术，颅内外动脉狭窄的球囊扩张术和内支架植入术，颅内动脉瘤栓塞术，脑血管畸形栓塞术等，至今已开展各种脑血管病的介入手术600余台次。是国内神经内科独立开展神经介入时间较早、项目最多的科室，居国内神经内科领先地位，技术方面达到了国际先进水平。脑血管病的介入治疗2006年被评为辽宁省临床医学重点项目。在科研方面，学科主要研究方向是脑血管病的基础与临床研究，脑血管病介入治疗的模型与材料研究，脑血管病介入治疗的临床研究，癫痫的监测、多模式治疗及基础研究，帕金森病的基础和临床研究，痴呆和神经心理疾病研究，应激性心理创伤的干预研究，头痛的基础与临床研究，神经电生理研究等。近五年先后承担了包括国家“九五”科技攻关课题、国家重点科技（公关）课题、国家自然科学基金课题、以及国家科技部、国家教育部、省科技厅、省教育厅、市科技局、外国政府资助及中外联合等11项科研课题。7项科研课题获省市级科研成果奖，其中慢性脑动静脉畸形动物模型的研究获辽宁省科技进步二等奖，脑细胞活性因子的提纯及临床应用研究获辽宁省政府科技进步三等奖，脑梗塞急性期血小板超微结构及其功能的观察研究获辽宁省政府科技进步三等奖。五年来全科在国内外各级专业杂志上共计发表论文87篇，其中外文期刊发表并被SCI收录8篇，国家级核心期刊发表58篇。学科现有教授9人，副教授5人，博士研究生毕业3人，硕士研究生毕业15人。现有博士生导师2人，硕士生导师6人。科室还与德国、美国、奥地利、日本等国家的著名大学和医院建立了长期的友好交流协作关系，积极开展国际交流与合作，每年邀请国际著名学者来院讲学、会诊、教学查房和科研协作。

                             Neurology

The Department of Neurology， 2nd Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University，is the first-class key department of Dalian Municipal Government， doctor degree graduates base of Dalian Medical University， Liaoning Provincial Center for Intervention and Treatment of Psychological Crisis， National Base of Clinical Drug Trial， and National Training Base of Professional Residents. The daily clinical works in this department include diagnosis and treatment of cerebral vascular diseases （CVDs）， neurological degenerative diseases， epilepsy and episodic diseases， dementia and neuropsychological diseases， and neurological electrophysiology study. After many years’ construction and development， this department has founded its own advantages and characters in many neurological fields such as interventional treatment of CVDs， organized management of stroke， diagnosis and treatment of dementia and other neuropsychological diseases， as well as neurological difficult diseases. Especially， the endovascular diagnosis and treatment of CVDs is one of the main advantages in this department. Since 2001 when Prof. Yin Lin came back to China and became the chief of this department， various endovascular treatments of CVDs have being performed， such as super-selective arterial fibrinolysis of super-acute cerebral infarct， balloon inflation and stenting of extra- and intra- cranial arterial stenosis， intravascular embolization of intracranial aneurysms and brain arteriovenous malformations， etc. Up to now， more than 600 procedures for different CVDs have been performed. The program of Endovascular Treatment of CVDs， charged by Prof. Yin， was selected to be one of the Liaoning provincial key clinical medicine programs in 2006.

The main scientific research activities in this department include the basic and clinical study of CVDs， model and material study for interventional treatment of stroke， clinical study of interventional treatment of stroke， monitoring， multi-mode treatment and basic study of epilepsy， basic and clinical study of Parkinson disease， study of dementia and other neuropsychological diseases， interventional study of stress psychological injury， basic and clinical study of headache， study of neurological electrophysiology， etc. In recent 5 years， 11 research programs have been undertaken in this department， including those from National Department of Science and Technology， National Committee of Natural Sciences， National Department of Education， Liaoning Provincial Department of Science and Technology， and Dalian Municipal Department of Science and Technology. 7 research programs obtained provincial or municipal Science and Technology Advance Prizes. Of which， the study of Establishment of Chronic Brain Arteriovenous Malformation got the second prize of Liaoning Science and Technology Advance Prize， the study of Purification and Clinical Application of Bain Active Factor got the third prize of Liaoning Science and Technology Advance Prize， the study of Observation of Platelet Super Micro Structure and Its Function in Acute Phase Cerebral Infarct also got the third prize of Liaoning Science and Technology Advance Prize. In recent 5 years， 87 papers have been published in professional journals and congress abstract books， of which， 8 published in SCI journals， 58 published in national core journals. There are now 9 professors， 5 associate professors in this department， of those， 2 are doctor degree graduate supervisors and 6 are master degree graduate supervisors. This department also establishes long standing communicating and corporative relationships with many famous university hospitals in the world from Germany， USA， Austria， Japan， Sweden， and so on.
